Come join the fun at Spotlight Theatre Studio!
No matter which class you choose, you'll learn fundamental performance techniques and hone your skills
in a creative and supportive environment led by experienced, passionate instructors.
All FALL 2019 classes will be held in the Brookings Arts Council at 524 4th St., Brookings, SD.
Intro to Improv
Grades 6-12 | $120
Mondays | 5-6 pm | Sept. 16-Nov. 4
Have you always wanted to do improv? Join us this fall to learn the basics of improvisational acting, improve creativity, and enhance self-confidence. Students will present what they’ve learned during the last 30 minutes of the final class.

Theatre Arts II
Grades 3-12 | $120
Mondays | 3:45-4:45 pm | Sept. 16-Nov. 4
Have you caught the acting bug? Do you love Hamilton and want to see your name in lights on Broadway? If so, join us for a class that improves skills through theatre games, monologues, duets, and group scenes. Students will showcase what they've learned in the last 30 minutes of the final class.

Private Acting Lessons
Grades 3-12 | Packages of 4 Lessons:
4 x 30 minutes = $60
4 x 45 minutes = $90
4 x 60 minutes = $120
Private acting lessons are a great way for a student who has a passion for acting to work one-on-one with a professional coach. Lessons can focus on preparing for an audition, rehearsing for a specific performance, or simply growing as a performer. Students may bring their own material, or we can work on anything from contemporary musical theatre to Shakespeare.
